Blanco announces Breast Cancer Foundation sponsorship4 Jul 2008

Blanco’s premium Platinum range of ovens will wear a touch of pink following the recent announcement of a new sponsorship arrangement.

Speaking at the launch of Blanco’s National Road Show, National Marketing Manager Nicholas Cook said that Blanco was proud to announce its corporate sponsorship of the National Breast Cancer Foundation of Australia.

Mr Cook said, ‘Breast cancer research is a subject dear to the hearts of Australian women. “Because Life’s meant To Be Easy” is more than a slogan to Blanco – it reflects one of our core beliefs. Everything about the Blanco experience is focused on making life easier, through our products, services, heritage and values. The sponsorship is another way of delivering on this belief for a section of the community who also form the bulk of our customers.’

Under the terms of the sponsorship, Blanco will make direct contributions to the Foundation for every Platinum range oven sold. Mr Cook said, “The selected products can be easily identified by the pink ribbon which has become part of our in-store display. In addition, we have
underpinned our support with a guarantee that we will contribute a minimum of $50,000 to the Foundation each year.”

Blanco is highly respected in the Australian market for its innovative and reliable appliances that combine timeless styling with a designer
edge. Consumers can select from the affordable Contemporary range and the high performance Platinum selection which includes state-ofthe-art oven, steam oven, espresso machine, microwave, freestanding cooker, cook top, range hood, sink, tap, waste management, dishwasher and laundry products.

‘Blanco is honoured to be the only appliance company supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation,’ said Mr Cook. ‘We look forward to a long association with them and hope that our products will be wearing the ‘Pink Ribbon’ for many years to come.’
